Network Viewing with Internet Explorer [DVR FLEX4/8/16]

 

[This note applies to all ICR Flex series DVRs]

 

Step 1:  Start by launching an Internet Explorer browser window. 

*Note:  For compatibility reasons, Vista users will want to run this as an administrator.  Right click the Internet Explorer shortcut, and choose Run as administrator

 

 

 

Step 2:  Next, in the address bar of Internet Explorer input either the static IP or domain name assigned to your DVR.

 

 

 

 

Step 3:  If this is your first time loading the web interface, IE will prompt you to download an ActiveX control.  Once the controller has successfully been installed, restart your web browser and input your IP again. 

 

 

 

Step 4:  You should now be at the ICRealtime web interface. 

 

 

Step 5:   Now you may login for network viewing.  Choose Connect at the top left, and you will be prompted for a user name and password.  *Note:  The 888888 user name will not work for network viewing.  Use either admin, or any other user defined account.

 

 

Step 6:  You are now logged in!  You can control the DVR much the same way as you could with direct access.  To bring up a video feed, right click and choose either Real Time Monitor, or Multi-Video Preview.
